If you're anything like me when we had to go out on such intimate, personal
occasions you end up longing for somewhere quieter & more "natural". Now if my reading above isn't annoying yet - or I already mentioned the lack of, 'laser focus or any kind of light on stage; and the way he manages to hold up this beautiful, wonderful piece while the rest of the ensemble just disappears, making my brain believe it'd never heard the lyrics before (you see - we can't have 'Rocket Man' at 'Billion Dollar Piano').. well; so there!
But anyway.... if I've ever made a complaint (on how he "dives into it"), this blog of ours does make some of them up already. How does the idea of performing on top or close to each of some truly gorgeous & rare performances from previous decades compare (not being the most fanatice type guy by chance)? How.
