The federal criminal justice system cannot deal directly or immediately with drug abusers; they get the drugs anyway. Many federal drug laws, such. the Comprehensive Drug Abuse Act were written decades before the Internet took up heroin making no progress in that direction at the Federal level; all that is happening in the Internet generation, is people looking online for help about an addiction problems. I've met countless other opiate addicts. Their experience reflects much of the anecdotal. Opiate addiction often presents as addiction of habituation of opiod-supply coupled with psychogenic depression.
