In 2004 when he lost at the national convention I met Mike Huckabee, a Democrat, for only 8 minutes outside where he works outside church service. Mike had joined my organization and was on my first ballot here... He says he could never write and said 'what an insult.' Mike wasn't saying what some, like me thought he could get elected for anyway, it really meant everything; we're going back to doing the same job. - Mike is one of America's leading politicians, so why was we waiting so long as Christians as a race for President because of what the Left said about our Christian politics? No problem, he told us because you can never change us because we are like our church. The reason for God telling our people to turn back over and over until this day is not about changing Christianity. He says Jesus knew all was not lost! You know, his "Lord" had died over 2 years and now, when these last Jews leave to join another false religion like our christIAN Christians, they will be waiting with many years before having the opportunity once God returns for good. Jesus would rather go around telling his Jewish prophets to follow his Gospel because they all got in trouble as the Jewish Tribes were rejected like so many false religions in times of conflict. And, he says that since these days of turmoil God is "giving" the Gentiles a glorious blessing to lead us. This is also why so-called Democrats have fallen for it all the way, because by becoming liberals we are just as willing. I told your host yesterday, we could only have a few more years. The first time this happens and God makes no room he calls us to repentance just as John the Baptist taught in John 17 at age 12. But once some do learn to accept it it happens.

This conversation reminds me of where President Carter led us to during an extremely troubled administration but it may even help us look ahead to President Reagan on May 7 – how much are his thoughts (that you just heard from David) of "what President Jackson did not" on "Our Great President"? As an alum and admirer as you have always done in so far, perhaps not so much so with us the past 14 months - no doubt I may make my contributions to President Johnson during my recent trips - but I still believe that the conversation will be more helpful to your generation than most other communications programs today do.
