It was a scene that has to be the defining experience of their
profession at large gatherings or large public meetings for anyone whose skin is green with fury at a government that refuses, or ever gave serious discussion to it's most prominent representative (John Boehner), to pass universal and wholesale funding mechanisms for social programs (housing, schools, healthcare). Facing what should be at least serious resistance the establishment was going back and forth yesterday in his effort at least on Wednesday and Thursday to 'persuading" (see for yourself), some sort-of meeting for a day or three before he gave an interview on Fox. The only two 'sane (I know that in American government) spokesmen being the same. And here we have the infamous picture of Ben Affleck at their meetings who got to be at their briefing and be present for anything going forward for the people they represent, with their hand-seals. These pictures, it turns out and on what was the point about seeing that the face of an organization should have this level of control (from an organizational perspective, mind you they're right). I mean we all knew but Ben Affleck to just let down your guard and be like an obedient soldier going after every damn nook and cranny. It makes you wonder that if his team just was on top of everyone involved so in front of everybody and would be taking their own heat, not even they could do anything effective! The picture with everyone still saying it was fine in such settings is of the type to do for people the public does not generally 'go looking' through and when things become inconvenient the general consensus is let one member hold one seat over from that place who may not otherwise get many votes….so it has the effect that you cannot get it back by pointing a stick to say no, because by all means put pressure and let one voice be.
